Using Facebook at Work or School
Written by on December 9, 2007 – 4:12 pm -Facebook, the popular and one of the most addictive social networking sites on the internet. this social networking site is a great way to connect with lost friends, missed connections, new friends or current friends. They offer many features such as mini feeds (that show what your friends have been up to, their updates, photos updated and so on), wall posting (where you can go to your friend’s profiles and leave them a message which they will respond later). Send free presents (virtual items, images that appears on their profiles, but it is always fun to do!). Facebook also has many more new applications that can be used, either you can get yourself a pet, post big pictures on your profile, play games, post a map of where you have been in the world and many many more. Doesn’t this sound addictive already? Another problem with Facebook that makes it addictive is Facebook stalking, yes, indeed many people do this. They check out profiles of people (mostly friends) to see what they are up to. Because facebook is ever changing and easily addictive, work places and schools block them. There are ways to which you can find out how to unblock facebook easily. All you really need to do is go on a facebook.com proxy site to unblock the website! It is really easy because the proxy allows you to surf anonymously going around the blocked site that your work place or school has placed on them.
